Moon Beam Media is a film making organisation that is ran entirely by students.
We make short films!

Our Latest feature film, 'A Frosty Reception' is a 45 minute horror-comedy set at a remote bothy in the Lake District fells.
We have made other films including the Barrow-in-Furness set drama, 'Overdose'.

 

'The Camp' a short horror film we made in 2008 won an award at the Keswick film festival.

The film was praised as 'A slickly produced horror movie with all the classic elements of the slasher genre'.


Moon Beam media is organised by...

Jack Filmore - Director of Photography
Jack is responsible for filming, editing and logistics as well as Directing the crew during shoots. Jack has extensive camera experience dating back as far as the 'Family Treasure' and was responsible for the organization of the 'Mosedale' shoot, our most ambitious project to date. Jack is an undergraduate at Lancaster University.

Tom Worgan - Director of Performance
Tom is responsible for casting, script writing and directing the cast during shoots. He is the eldest Moon Beam Media member and has taken the lead role in many of our films notably as David in 'Overdoes' and his role as Jared in 'The Camp'. Tom studies film and script writing at UCLAN and has extensive script writing experience.
